1.2.7.3: Manage Roadside Device Control Applications
This page shows the collection of processes that make up the Manage Roadside Device Control Applications facility within the Manage Traffic function. These processes monitor the equipment operation, use short range wireless communications with nearby onboard systems to warn drivers of safety and environmental hazards, inform of lane usage, remotely control barriers, and manage requests from certified equipped vehicles for signal priority or preemption.
There are 5 processes in this collection, each of which is defined in a Process Specification (PSpec) and mapped to a subsystem physical object in the physical view:
1) Process In-vehicle Signage Data (1.2.7.3.1)
2) Process Vehicle Safety and Environmental Data for Output (1.2.7.3.2)
3) Support Vehicle Control of Barrier Systems (1.2.7.3.3)
4) Manage Connected Signal Priority and Preemption Requests (1.2.7.3.4)
5) Process Intersection Safety Data (1.2.7.3.5)
