2.8.5: Manage Intermodal Shipments

The processes in this collection define a set of functions related to the shipment of cargo from an original point of origin, e.g. a factory or assembly plant, to its final destination, e.g. a retail store. These processes include those normally conducted by a intermodal customer, i.e. the shipper. The processes cover the interactions with the processes to manage commercial vehicle fleet operations, provide onboard commercial vehicle data, providet freight operations, and provide driver and traveler services as well as other functions within the manage intermodal operations function.
