Physical Object: Multi-Access Edge Computing
MEC Work Zone Safety
Overview
'MEC Work Zone Safety' communicates with connected vehicles and personal devices carried or worn by the work crew to detect vehicle intrusions in work zones and warn crew workers and drivers of imminent encroachment. Crew movements are also monitored so that crew can be warned of movement beyond the designated safe zone. There may be constraints related to performance related to communications with participants using network operators foreign to the MEC.
