TIC Transit User Guidance
Overview
'TIC Transit User Guidance' uses wireless communications to provide terminal or stop-specific guidance to transit user devices that assists users in finding the right stop and the right bus. Optionally, this object can collect the transit user location and planned itinerary so that tailored guidance can be provided.
This functional object is included in the "Transportation Information Center" physical object.

Requirements

| 01 | The center shall provide stop-specific transit schedules and routes information to personal traveler devices. |
| 02 | The center shall collect information about individual transit users boarding a transit vehicle. This information can be used to track a user's progress on a scheduled transit trip and can contain indication of special needs of the traveler, such as that they are visually impaired. |
| 03 | The center shall collect information about transit stop locations, schedules and performance from other centers. |
| 04 | The center shall send a transit stop request to the relevant transit center after receiving a valid stop request from a traveler device. |
