MEC Rail Crossing Warning

Overview

'MEC Rail Crossing Warning' is a connected vehicle application that improves safety at rail crossings. It communicates with wayside equipment that detects or communicates with approaching trains. It provides rail crossing warnings and train arrival information to approaching vehicles and monitors connected vehicles that may intrude on the crossing.

This functional object is included in the "Connected Vehicle Roadside Equipment" physical object.
