Standards are mapped to ARC-IT artifacts in up to three ways:
- Standards mapped to interfaces (e.g., triples) define dialogs, messages, data formats or lower layer functions (e.g., radio), or cybersecurity capabilities associated with information exchange. These are noted under the Communications tab.
- Standards mapped to physical objects typically define internal structure, functional performance, environmental performance or similar requirements. These are noted in the Physical tab.
- Standards mapped to service packages typically define scenario/use case context; these are noted in the Service Packages tab.
