Overview

'Vehicle Gap Assist' uses V2I communications to collect traffic gap information and associated alerts and warnings that are displayed to the driver who is navigating a stop-sign controlled intersection with a major road.

Requirements

01The vehicle shall broadcast its location and motion data as well as its size and performance profile to other vehicles and roadside equipment.
02The vehicle shall present traffic gap information and associated alerts and warnings to the driver.
03The vehicle shall accept driver input controlling gap assist settings and preferences.
